HOW THE MEDICAL LOAN CLOSET ADDRESSES CRITICAL NEEDS

As a local nonprofit, we serve thousands of people each year.

The Medical Loan Closet of Henderson County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides durable medical equipment at minimal cost to residents of Henderson County and surrounding counties who are facing recovery from illness, surgery, accident or other medical crisis.

Volunteers and staff at the MLCHC work with clients and their caregivers to help ensure they are loaned medical equipment that suits their needs.

The Medical Loan Closet’s inventory of thousands of pieces of durable medical equipment includes:

Wheelchairs
Knee walkers
Winnie walkers
Hospital beds
Elevated toilet seats
Commodes
Shower and tub transfer benches
Canes and crutches and
Additional Equipment items also available

COVID-19 Precautions

To help ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients, staff and volunteers, the Medical Loan Closet has enhanced its cleaning and sanitizing efforts to combat COVID-19.

Additional cleaning protocols to specifically fight the COVID-19 virus are being used to sanitize all durable medical equipment being loaned as well as the inside of the Medical Loan Closet building itself.

FOR EQUIPMENT RETURNS: Please drive through the side gate marked for returns outside the building.

Times you can return loaned equipment

The Medical Loan Closet of Henderson County accepts returns of loaned equipment from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.
